Liceo Attilio Bertolucci
italian version:
Liceo A. Bertolucci is a Secondary  State School which offers three different profiles:  Maths and Science, Music, Sport . It was founded  in 2007 and it counts 35 classes and about 850 students between 14 and 19 years of age. Music and Sport are new and exclusive departments which  have been introduced only recently  by the National School Reform of 2010 and are rapidly expanding.
Liceo Bertolucci  has been chosen by The National Plan for Digital Schools of The Italian Ministry of Education  as one of the most advanced institutions in the field of  digital approach. For this reason it  has become one of the 36 School 2.0  over the Italian territory and it is a regional pole for  dedicated teachers’ training.  The school  also    belongs to Avanguardie Educative (literally Educational Avant-gardes) a movement that wants to systematize the most innovative and  effective experiences of transformation of the Italian school.

In  October  2015  a Consortium of 9 European University  has chosen Liceo Bertolucci as a  valuable representative school for Emilia Romagna for the participation to the project CATCH-EyoU, a Research and Innovation Action funded by the European Commission
under the H2020 Programme.
Following the indications of the Italian National Reform, the school is also:
- teacher training  centre for C.L.I.L. (Content and Language Integrated Teaching) which has been introduced this year  for all terminal classes;
- teacher  training  centre for the use of ICT in education
- teacher  training  centre Project Innova 2014

The school building, which is very new, is located near the town centre of Parma, next to three other secondary technical and vocational schools.
The aim of the school is to fulfill the potential of each individual student and to do so in a safe and caring environment that aims at the highest international standards. Its objective  is to develop the individual talents of young people and teach them to relate the experience of the classroom to the realities of the world outside. Strong emphasis is placed on the ideals of international understanding and responsible citizenship, to the end that pupils may become critical and compassionate thinkers, lifelong learners and informed participants in local and world affairs, conscious of the shared humanity that binds all people together while respecting the variety of cultures and attitudes that makes for the richness of life.
